  • Rear shock for 98 kat 750

    Hey guys, I've been reading lots of posts and can't seam to get a straight answer to my question. I am 300+ pounds and 6' 1", (big boy What is my best option for a rear shock? b12 or others? and how hard is the swap? any and all suggestions are welcomed! Thanks in advance!!

        Do you have a threaded adjuster on that shock? I had heard that some early 750's came with a cam adjuster but I have yet to see any. Anyway I would suggest sticking with that shock and getting a different spring for it. I don't know what your $ limitation is but you could also get it revalved as well. You can actually make a pretty good performing shock out of that basic shock.

        Also just in case nothing has been done to the front you should get a set of 1.0 kg/mm fork springs.
