  • GSX1100F Rear suspension

Hi, I have a 1988 and have found the rear suspension is leaking very slowly.

is this air/oil suspension still available or can anyone recommend a suitable substitute that could fit straight in.

The J model shock is discontinued from what I found. The K/L/M/N/P is still available....for $935. You might want to research a sub.

    Check out this thread: http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.p...ck+interchange

eBay is another option. Do a search for gsx1100 shock, there are several on there right now.

Cheers, I was left to believe they were not available in NZ or repairable.

The Suzuki dealer in Tauranga say they have some one who has worked out how to repair and recharge these shock but at a cost.

The $935 I would take as US dollars?

I think the deal quoted between $1000 and $1500 NZ dollars.
Sorry still getting my head around the computer and the web.

I would hate to go to a second hand shock and end up in the same shocking state in a few months or years.

Cheers, I will acsept all the help I can

90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Hi Trackerrrr are you saying that the K/L/M/N/P models should fit or work in the FJ model?
