  • Poormans frontsuspension rebuild?

    Greetings all Katriders...

This weekend i have done the rear shock, put in a '03 Bandit 1200, the bike is really nice now
The problem is, that the front is really crappy now, it's diving in really bad when braking, and the static sag is just ridicules...

My question is now: How do i get the front to not dive as much - without spending $200+ on new springs, seals, valves and what not?

I'm thinking replacing the oil since it's properly decades old, and I have read something about putting some spacers on top of the spring, but never really got the hole point of it?

    It's a '97 600 Kat, and I'm a little fellow about 160 lbs..

    What to do..?
