  • Bandit 1200 Shock Swap

I'm looking to put a Bandit 1200 shock on my 2000 Kat. I believe I know the answer to this but thought I'd ask just to be save. From what I understand the Bandit shock will raise the back of the bike about 2" and I don't think I want to raise it that much. Can I install the longer, lowering dogbones to bring it back down some. I think I'd be happy with it if it was about 1" higher than stock. Thanks

Thanks, I thought that should work. Just wanted to make sure before I tore into it. Do you think I'll need to lengthen the kickstand if it's only raised about an inch?

Probably not but be advised it will lean a little more if you don't.
