750 Kat 98+ Fork Swap

Hi

I am looking to change the bent forks on my 98 750 Kat. Could any one please tell me:

1) What other forks will fit without any modifications (i would like to use the original triples, brakes, wheel etc)

2) What other forks will fit if I change the triples to match the forks ( but still use the original wheels & brakes)

1. - 98-02 750 front forks will work with 0 mods.

2. Pre 98 forks will work, it's not the trees you have to worry about, it's the breaks. I have pre 98 600 forks with a 98+ stem and top tree.

I don't think the 98+ front breaks will work, but I have the entire pre front break system I can sell you also. You don't need to change the trees, they are all 41mm forks.

Thanks for info, may consider your forks if I can't find anything in the UK. Although I think shipping may be expensive.

yeah, I didn't know you were in the UK, thats gonna hurt. I have calculated shipping world wide on ebay, so what it says it is, thats what it is.
