brake pad clarification please?

So i'm trying to replace all the brakes on my 00' katana and im confused. Left pads and right pads are sold separately but are the same? I'm not finding any pads specifying rear from front. Are all the pads the same all around for the bike?

Front and rear are not the same. The front pad style will fit right and left (if they are interchangable).

Find a local shop to buy pads from instead of paying shipping. Pads are heavy.
