Thats not actually correct...1100 triples and forks are 52mm on top...the 750 triples and forks are 50mm. R1 forks (and most newer gsxr forks) are 50mm on top as well making them a match for the 750 triples. I've decided to use 750 triples and the 2002 gsxr1000 forks I have on my 82 katana project
I was under the impression that GSXR1100 front ends would swap up to 1998. Am I wrong?
They will bolt up but only if you use 1100 triples with 1100 forks. Try slipping a set of 1100 forks into a set of 750 triples and you'll be 2mm off.

Yes, the 01-02 gsxr forks do bolt into the 750 triples. As I mentioned, any 50mm fork will bolt into those triples (which is why the R1 forks work).
So then, I'd assume with your '01-02 GSXR1000 fork, you're going to run the 6-piston calipers? 'That would be awesome!
Actually I'm maching a couple adaptor plates and using the brembos I have laying around.
