  • Lowering and swingarm extension of 1996 750

Has anyone got any advice on lowering my 96 750? Do they make lowering links? Also, are there aftermarket extensions available?
I haven't had any luck finding pertinent information on these questions.
    Help....anyone?

Yes, Neb on here makes some lowering links....

Why do would you want to extend the swingarm if you're not a drag racer?

I'm not sure that neoublie makes lowering links for the pre-98's. I THINK he only makes them for the 98+'s. And they are not the same as the pre's dogbones are bent while the 98+'s are straight.

Probably the easiest way to lower your bike (at least for the rear) is to switch to a lower profile back tire. If you are running the stock size dropping to a 60 series tire will drop the rear about 1/2 inch.

For the front you can slide the triples down the fork tubes a little as long as you dont go too far.

As far as an extended swingarm, you will have to weld in some boxed steel to lengthen it out. There aren't any ready made extended swingarms for Katanas.
