replacing dog bones

so im looking into butting my shorter bones on. after looking through the service manual, it seems you need to pull the whole swingarm off. is there an easier way or does the swing arm need to come off?

i just did mine last weekend and you only need to take off the heel guards and brake lever.(06 750)i 'll find the links that was sent to me which shows step by step with pics.its easy if you got the tools.took about 1.5 hrs cause it was my first time.


oh if you wanna lower it i would go no lower than 1.5 inch.more than that and you run into some sidestand issues.

perfect thanks, i figured the brake/guard was going to be the easy way out. be a good chance to adjust my brake pedal also i guess.
