I bought my first Kat in 1991, brand new, a red 600. No pics though.
Why? Because IMHO, some shops are good for certain services, others for other services, and often it comes down to the mechanic (like salespeople, I'll follow a good mechanic from shop-to-shop if I know where they went).
TAMPA:
Tires & Bearings on any bike (great tire guy on staff), plus work on bikes so old the dealer doesn't want to touch them (i.e. - got an late 70's - early 90's something or other?), but I won't bring them serious work on any bike under a decade old:
RTM Motorcycles Inc.

If you use these guys, do so only for Fork Rebuilds, warrantee work, and make sure you specifically ask for the old timers on staff (they burn through young MMI graduates who aren't 100% yet regularly):
PowerSports of Tampa (Suzuki Dealership)

If you're in Tampa, need serious work, serious debugging to figure out a problem and it doesn't fall into one of the above, you're pretty much #$% as far as I can tell. Good luck!
