  • 01 Kat parts bike find. less than $1000 - no title

I found this while browsing my local car forum here in VA.
Its a 01 kat with 7k miles that the guy say he doesnt have the title for, so he is selling it to anyone who wants it. He say he is asking $1000, but lowballers ARE welcomed.

ditto, we should have a mini forum just for posting reports of stolen kats/bikes to be on the lookout for

If I was in the area, I'd call the local cops, have them check the VIN to make sure it's clean, then buy it cheap and part it out. If it is reported stolen, I'd turn over the guy's contact info to them. Either way it's a win-win scenario.

I'm saying if it is reported stolen, don't buy it, just turn his data over -- that's a winning scenario because it means another thief is off the street.
