  • Help, I broke my key

Last night I stopped for gas and when I went to open the gas tank, the key twisted and started to rip in half. I slowly pulled it out, straighten it enough to put back in the ignition to make it home but now I don't have a key. Where can I get one. We don't have a Suzuki dealer in Hammond. Can any dealer make them and what info do they need?

I don't know how can I say in english " keyman" a person who works with cars and bikes key's people around the world are the same so lose the keys, close the car with keys inside etc you should find a person that works with this I'm certain that will be easy to solve your problem
Here in Brasil in all Wallmart's has small shop's that works with key's, repair, key copys, etc.
So get your broken key explain what happened and maybe they can do a new one for you.

Without the code from the original set of keys, you'll probably have to get a locksmith to open the ignition, and use that to cut a *SET* of keys. Take note of the word SET, as in plural, meaning more than one.

if you bent the key key back straight they can copy it, also if it a good locksmith they can look up the code for the key from your vin number just recently had this done for the same reason
never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to there level and beat you with experience.

If its the original key there should be a 3 number code on it. Any locksmith can make you a key from that code. You can also get the code from any of the locks on your bike provided you can get into them. And as previously stated. Make more than one.

make a wax mold of your old key and fold up aluminum from a can. put it in a vice/ repeat. then use a dremel to copy your wax mold . or call a locksmith
