Well said! this is my exact reasoning for wearing full leathers on a bike. I dont like risking my wellbeing because some careless twit or 15 year old just got her permit and is texting and driving, while hitting m bike.

all that gear gives me better oddds of less injury, which means I'll have a better chance of walking away with bruises and maybe scrapes, as opposed to sitting in an ER getting skin grafts and limbs replaced/rebuilt.

but as i said before im not arguing here i was simply responding to rude insults for doing nothing more than stating my opinions .

No matter where Im going, I at least wear my helmet and gloves. about 90 percent of the time I wear my jacket if im going farther than work (I live 1 block from my job).

I wear my boots on ever ride now cause 1 time I'm sure it saved my foot from being broken.
