well hello fellow sport riders. im new to the sport riding world and just got my first sport bike. a pre owned 2000 600 kat w/ 17000 miles on the od and only gave a $1000 for it. so far i love it. im new to all of this so any information on preformance mods or any tricks i can do to this thing will be greatly appreciated. awsome site you guys and gals have here and lots of information. i will be looking foreward to hearing from all of you.

Welcome! I bought my Katana 1 1/2 weeks ago. Hadn't ridden in four years and just got back into it with the Kat. It's a good bike to dip into more performance-oriented riding, but I admit I am jonseing for a Ducati.
