I'd like to add some mesh to my Kat..where do you get some of that stuff?

I have about 20 sqft. of mesh left over after I did mine. I have no problem cutting it up to size and mailing it to you since I am just up the road from you. Cost is free, and I'll even throw in some free goodies - just give me a couple of bucks for shipping.

You can do it while installing your HID's. Here is what it looks like on mine, painted yellow. This gives you an idea of the mesh pattern spacing too:





The mesh itself is like a bare metal zinc looking material. I painted mine with Rustoleum bright yellow from a rattle can. I hit it with the paint from all four angles and from both sides.

Yeah, I put like 4 coats on the mesh, from each direction, and from both sides so I guess I don't have to worry about it flaking off... the EPA sent me a congratulatory letter for the hole in the ozone layer that was named after me.

Yeah cause when painting mesh an inordinate amount of paint is wasted. :mrgreen:
