did you raise up your footpegs? i always grind mine before i can get a knee down... i mean ya im short but if they were like an inch higher

You probably need to get your a$$ off the seat a bit more. It took me most of the day before I got my knee down. I thought I was way off the seat until i saw some pics and realized I was barely hanging off the bike. In fact, on the SV, I dragged the belly pan, the pegs and the muffler before actually gtting my knee down. The second time at the track was all knee and much easier.
