did they ever say what made him dump it? I didn't have the volume up but he was on a straight and it looked like the front wheel went out from under him

The sticky shifting is odd, but it doesn't seem like anything siezed....it was still running and pulling right up until it was sliding. If it locked, I would have expected it to go silent for 1/10 second before he dumped it. Besides, even if the back wheel siezed, I would have thought he could have slid it for a second or so before dumping it, but this one fell too quick.

The only thing I can think of that would make a bike go down so fast, is a front wheel problem. How about a flat front tire? A blow out at the front at 150 mph would sure ruin your day. It's hard to tell at the end of the video, but that front tire looks a little skinner at the bottom, than it does at the top.

Agree, it looked like the front tire blew but that's just a best guess.

In the video it seems like the front wheel hops before he goes down, but it could been a long list of things that did it. Maybe he hit sharp rock or a small spot of oil or standing water. At higher speeds it takes very little to down a bike.

man its bad enough to wreck at triple digit speed, but then to watch your bike burn to the ground? Ugh!

                            Atleast he saved his camera.

That looks like a fun track, id like to take a spin on it. Maybe not at 150mph, but a nice stroll around 50 would be nice.

Not even 150 on the straights? I'd have to, atleast once!

Honestly though, it's a good thing he was on a track and wearing GEAR. Imagine if he was on the street....even if he was wearing gear.
