The only part that is close is that black section. The rest has plenty of clearance. Been running it for a while now and no sign of melting...even sitting in Houston 100 deg heat stop and go traffic..

I plan to get my rear end done this winter. Just need to wear out my rear tire this summer.
When I was in the dealership today getting my tire mounted I was looking at new(er) bikes and was saddened when I found myself thinking about all the upgrades i'd need to do to a lot of them to make one the way I'd like. All in all I think I have almost built the perfect bike for myself.
