I don't quite know about hooked, it was a good experience but the Sprint is not the right tool for the job. If I had the cash for a dedicated track bike I might consider it... but right now... probably not.

I went back and looked again. Yes that's a rider waiting to enter the hot track. When you come in from the starting grid, you follow a chicane which is no longer in use as part of the track skipping turns one and two, dumping you out at the start of turn 3.

The rider entering the hot track is responsible to check for traffic, and thou shall never enter the hot track in any other way (as opposed to the ahole who went off track earlier in the day then darted right back out in front of me).

That pavement is pretty sweet but the patches on the one sweeping turn are aconcern. I must say though that camera person is on a hell of a sexy bike and must be a serious stud himself...

The two patches were smooth enough that you wouldn't notice rolling over them, but you still tend to want to avoid them subconciously.

The camera man is a known a-hole

After lunch, I had an issue with the rough patch on that turn on the first lap when my tires were possibly still cool, but at other times didn't have any issues with them.
