    yeah im about 42 mpg right now i think i need a major tuneup and valve work, but i was gettin close to 50 a few months back highway :bunny2

      Yeah I make 35-40 city on my jetted/exhausted pre600.

        If mileage is that important, Buy a Rebel! My old rebel averaged 77 MPG. But it sure sucked on acceleration! Mileage will get beter after 1000 miles or so.

            I have a pre 600 with abt 18,000 on it and i get around 45 mpg...and thats a little highway riding + a little bit a up hill twisties and back road riding and playing around racin a little bit and of course revving it up for no reason every now and then lol...and the bike is stock except for a 4-1 yoshi R&D...I dont even have it jetted or anything

              hmm i thought mine was bad at 36mpg. all highway doing 70-75mph the whole ride which is about 55 miles long to school one way. i burn premium because it doesnt have ethanol. dunno if it matters but w/e.

              i have no fairings or wind screen and sit up most the ride so i guess mines not so bad.

              92 kat 600 California model with emissions crap removed but not plugged up (seems to run same plugged or not)
