Well, she started up and ran beautifully this weekend..fixed some minor leaks here and there. I'm going to have to take the rear tire off again because apparently there's a leak along the bead somewhere so I'll have to trace that..Got my 2005 tail primed and spliced my new tail light connector to the wiring harness, it worked flawlessly. The mesh mod has been inserted into the fairings..

Found a minor gas leak along where the bowl meets the body on carb #1, have to pull the carbs off to check float height and to see if the gasket is seated properly.

Nice any pictures of how the bike looks with the new tail? Did you ever figure out the wiring issue with the cluster?

Well, I got the mesh mod installed and called up the shop that mounted my tires and he'll fix it for free! I would sort of expect that from a small shop like his plus, I do a ton of business through him..I'll have pictures coming soon. New issue to deal with, check it out.
Can't get it to run right? Find a trick to add HP?
From the first oil change to completely rebuilding the engine,
this is the place to talk about the heart of the beast!

So the bike is completely finished for now! I mocked up a pretty sweet custom chain guard/license plate relocator. The color combination is really sharp, it's really grown on me and has turned many heads and I've been approached by several people that asked about the bike and compliment the exhaust! Future plans Include a lengthened (not much) and widened swing arm to fit a 180 rear tire. I'm more than likely going to swap in a 1100 GSXR engine here within the year as well.

Here's a list of future mods:
                    -New bar ends
                    -New hand grips
                    -Stainless brake lines
                    -Illumiglow gauges
                    -Seat cover
                    -Ignition advancer
                    -Solo seat cowl

These are basic winter mods that I'm going to make while fighting cabin fever. Not next summer, but more then likely this upcoming winter I'll swap the engine if I become bored of the 600. More than likely I'm going to tackle a legitimate spray gun paint job next season as well.
