      The OEM seat, a bleach jug, clear plastic wrap and packaging tape.

          That cowl looks great. It is just as nice if not a little cleaner looking then the braada cowl....Great job

            Well I have the first coat of paint on it.
            The paints a little dull yet I still need to clear it and polish it, but so far it's looking pretty decent.

            I'm cheap and I'm repainting the bike this spring/early summer so I did not want to spend the $$$ to get an exact match on the paint from color rite. So I sprayed it with dupli-color FORD med cranberry. It's pretty darn close.

                    I think it is just like the tank protection sticker. I believe it is to stop your pants from scratching the paint down there.

                        he's right

                        The OE plasics have a clear tape here to protect the paint. My old boots wore through the clear tape and scuffed the paint so I used the same carbon fiber vinyl that is on the top clamp/bars, heel guards, and gas tank.
