    What does the number for tier size stand for? The owner’s manual states that rear is a 150/70 ZR 17 I get that the 17 is the rim size but what about all the rest.

    150 is the width (mm) and 70 is a percentage of the width, which indicates sidewall height (70% of 150). ZR is the speed rating.

          Z indicates the speed rating of the tire. The R designates the tire as being a radial.
