'03 and up rear fairing to '98 - '02

does anyone know if the fairing on an '03 and up katana is a direct bolt on for the '98 to '02 katana. I want to convert my katana to the later model tail light assembly.

Spedee, where did you get the rear fairings from and how much do they cost? I want to replace them on my blue 2000.

Actually, it's not a direct bolt on. The fender and undertray of the 98-02 is different than the 03+ fender and undertray. You'll need to fab up new holes for it, get the 03+ fender, or get an aftermarket undertail.
