                        Don't know how I missed this ride report for so long, guess maybe because it was burried back a few pages by the time I joined the site. I've been contemplating buying a friends clean '00 ZX12-R all winter long. My main concern was whether or not a bike like that could possibly be comfortable enough to do longer touring type rides. Reading this report has got me thinking I need to take the bike for a test ride before ruling it out. Thanks for this write up TRD, who knows if I do end up buying it, maybe someday I'll have the time to accompany you on one of these cross country road trips.
