Sounds like fun. I know what its like with a hurt foot. I twisted my foot in a rut a few weekends ago at a race, and its just a nagging pain that wont go away and hurts when im on the bike. Im jealous of the trip. I want to do it someday. Id be coming from kansas though.

Boy, this is going to be a bizarre writeup.

I can understand canx-ing the trip over the ankle, though. He didn't sound like he was having much fun with that. Too bad. It sounded like a great trip he had planned. Maybe next year.

That sucks about the card and unfortunate about the ankle. I hope it heals up well. Seems like a phone call should fix that...and maybe some ice for the card?

a phone call before leaving is what he needed to do. even those of you heading to the rally should do it. I had the same thing happen to me once, and it ticked me off, but at the same time I am happy to see they are on their toes.

it's always a good idea to inform your bank and cc company that you will be using the cards while away on vacation......or if you travel often enough, just let them know that. mine will never get blocked because I take the time to call them up and let them know where/when I will be using them.
