97 Kat 750 Wheel Size Confusion

I have a 97 Kat 750. The last time I rode there was an incident with a small boulder.

Now I'm seeking a replacement front rim. The issue being, though they're the stock straight spoke design, the dimensions are different than the Pre wheels I've seen so far.

Front
17x3.5 - 120/70/17

Rear
17x4.5 - 160/60/17

Is it safe to believe that I need a 98-02 Kat wheel?

Pre wheels are "swept" spoke, 3" front, 3.5" rear.

Post wheels are "straight" spoke, 3.5" front, 4.5" rear.

Certainly sounds like you have post wheels on your kat. Pics can always help fully confirm... of both the wheels and kat.
