Trying to estimate shipping cost. What does the stock muffler from a Bandit 1200 weigh? What does the stock header from the same bike? Thanks.

Well, thanks, Wind. Actually, weighed them yesterday morning. Header- a little less than 9 pounds, the can, about 5. The weight of the can surprised me- you hear a lot of talk about how replacing the heavy stock muffler with an aftermarket saves "so much weight," but when you are shaving a couple of pounds off a 400+ pound bike, I don't see where the "weight savings" really would matter that much. Yeah, I know, I know, most folks replace the can for the increase in SOUND, and you can, sometimes, gain a few horses, but it looks like, for the Bandit at least, the weight is a non-issue."Stevie B" Boudreaux
