  • pre 98 front fender

could anyone tell me the difference between the pre 98 front fender and the 98+? I'm in the middle of customizing a Katana and the pre and post stuff really has no bearing on what I'm doing. Alot of the stuff is pre, alot is post. Anyway, I have a 98-03 front rim on pre 98 front end, I'm just wonder what the benefits of a 98+ front fender are.

I don't think there are any actually. If I remember correctly, the pre's have the metal plate to keep the forks from twisting while the 98+'s don't.

I'm no expert though. Never studied a 98+ that closely.

well, if they just mount differently, I'll just use the pre 98. I've already got a chrome mounting bracket, so if the 98+ doesn't use that, I'll just use the pre front fender.
