Anyone wrapped the exhaust header, I think it would be okay since I'm not going to have s fairing....input. examples

if your bike is going to see weather(stored outside), don't do it. wrap will retain moisture and rot the headers faster. that being said, i wrapped the pipes on an old bike i had that stayed inside the garage when not on the road, and had zero issues...it did zero for performance, but did keep the heat off my leg a little compared to the bare pipe. read the directions and install it properly, nothing looks worse than a sloppy header wrap job.

Thanks, it'll be in the garage or under bike cover if outside while at work.

Do NOT let it get wet.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Wrap from the muffler end up to the engine, that way the wrap doesn't have places to catch debree and such. Take your time and it will look great. Soak it in warm water for a little while before you start and make sure to pull it tight
