Hi to everyone at Katriders, Iam in Brisbane Australia. Have owned Suzi road bikes for a few years and they've all been good. When the 1100 TDK (Target Design Katana) was released in Australia in 1981 I just had to have one (wanted more than one really), anyway I was working overseas for a while and had to wait until 1986 before I could start looking for one. Found one and have owned it since 1986 its the Keeper, a 1982 TDK E24 GSX1100SXZ factory wire wheel katana. She is very tired now so it's time to get her back to her glory days with a major restoration. Paint engine, frame, tank, sidecovers and running gear, fit new original factory exhaust system, new original brake lines front and rear, powdercoat the black bits, polish and clear the rest. Should have it finished by the end of the year, planning for this year but you never know what will happen, spend too much time on the forum and it could be next year! Looking forward to being involved with others that have a keen interest in Katanas, vintage, old and new, cheers.

Plan A was to post before and after photos when the restoration was completed, any taken now are going to look very untidy. Maybe some soft light and filters will lift her spirits and show the beautiful lines that have been tarnished by the passing of 26 years and a few miles, cheers.82 GSX1100SXZ Wire Wheel Katana
