  • taking apart?? help

    i am trying to take off the triple tree and the steering stem you replace the bearings but for the life of me i cant get it off i have been trying to get it off and the book if have is not that much help(CLYMER) i have working on if a little bit for the last month and help would help :P please reply i am almost ready to give up on the bike and i dont want to please help {{it is a 1994 suzuki katana 600}}

    ok take a pic of what u have left on the bike i think what ur looking at ir like a huge nut that has like four holes that are across from each other

      What part are you stuck on, pull the front wheel and fender, pull calipers, remove the center nut on the top triple tree, loosen the shock tube clamps and remove the shock tubes, remove the top triple tree, remove the spanner nut (the oem tool kit has the proper wrench), the stem and lower triple tree can be removed.
