I was measuring the grip. I will do the tube. You know a good bit. Do you happen to know the size of the snap ring that holds the shifter in place?

Hmmmm, I'll have to dig on that, I have replaced that.
Ok, I picked up a snap ring set at O'reilly's auto parts that had a snap ring set, one fit.

That's what I will do. Get a set. One has to fit. I had mine in a cup. The cup got knocked over and history. I can't find it to save my life.

I have a magnetic broom for that issue. It's just a magnetic bar on wheels with a release. Life saver. Granger sells them cheap.

I need to find one. I use to have a big magnet on a string but just like the snap ring i have no clue where that went. I think it might have been a let somebody use never get back issue.

The throttle grip is tapered at the inner / flange end.
