Part number help...

So my partial order from Ron Ayers came in..
Hmmm not to impressed with the packing..
My brake crush washers were floating around loose..

Anyway..
I ordered a couple of drian plug gaskets..
According to the fich PN 09168-14002
Discontinued...
Now I have found that if you search other years
you can find the new rev PN.. (with in the pre 98 range..)
And as I was point and click ordering...

Why did I end up with PN09168-14004
My online invoice lists -14004..
After searching it looks like this is the
oil pan drain screw gasket for an 87 GSXR750..
As well as going 250 different places in the Suzuki line..
So WTF.. Did I goof? The drain plug gasket is shown as
discontinued for the 95 Kat, but I'm sure I chose the right part..

This part I have 09168-14004 is silver
about 19mm in OD, 14 mm ID
2mm thick andhas an odd taper curl shape to one side..
(it looks like a grommet)
And it doesn't look big enough to be the drain screw gasket..


Anyone have I clue what I have here,??

Yeah call Ron Ayers and talk to them. They are a suzuki dealer in NC. They are easy to deal with. I am going to call them today to make sure they got my order.
