  • Winter project = Completed

Bought it in December for $600. Needed carbs rebuilt, rear shock, master cylinder, tires, forks rebuilt, grips, rust removed from tank and frame, front calipers rebuilt.

Along the way I got 98+ wheels, HEL front brake lines, SV1000S master cylinder, new paint, very first set of Pre lowering links by Ne-oublie, B12 rear shock, Lockhart Philips 3 wire front signals and rear signals.

Here it was when I got it.

This is what it looks like now.

Im too lazy to repaint and polish the rear rim to match the fronts. Im just going to have them both sandblasted and PCed when the tires are toast.

how much money did ya end up putting in it? and how difficult was it to get the new turn signals and reflectors on there?

Ive probably have somewhere around $1500-1600 in the bike (including buying it).

It wasnt hard at all switching signals. They just mount right up in the factory locations.

Wouldn't you prefer to have them Mac'ed?
