Was wondering if anyone has the colored detailing stripe on their rims? Ive seen two different kinds online. The ones that come in roles, like regular tap, and ones that come already formed like a rim (firespeed.com). I was just wondering what you guys have used. Is one better than the other?

I put silver reflective stripes (curved, bought on ebay) on the black wheels of my 06. It was okay, but I have since stripped the paint off of the wheels and really like it better. I spent $15.00 on the stripes and about the same for Tal-Strip (aircraft aluminum stripper) and masking tape. It literally took about the same time to do both as well. About an hour each with cleanup.
There are write ups on how to strip the wheels.
