    All I can say is

    Wow, this thing is a beast.

    Wifes got the ZZR and a 500.

    I've got the R1 and the Katana 600

    Probably neeed to sell a bike or 2.

    my next bike I want a yamaha.....I think i'll stick with a 6R though....Looks good though

          She uses the ZZR for everything, I use the 500 for work, I use the Kat for comfortable rides, and I will use the R1 for..... I dunno, flying I guess.

          One thing though, my wrists are sore.
          Other than that, I can't stop smiling.

            R1 is sexy, I wanted a r6 as my first but never found one for the right price when I had cash.....oh well after the kat build is done I will start looking for a r1 or r6

                  So far I've put about 150 miles on the R1, and I found that the thing just WANTS to break the law.

                  I've never been given a speeding ticket in my life (knock on wood) but I think it'll be hard to avoid when you have to shift from 2nd to 6th just so you aren't going a hundred...

                  I know all about the "It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow approach" but this thing gives me the idea that if I ever try to actually bring this bike to its full potential I need to start racing professionally.

                  Even with the D & D exhaust it sounds like a full race bike.

                      Thanks for the nice compliments, lets just see if I can get to go to Deals next year with everyone.

                      Probably get passed by a pack of 250s though.

                        Nice bike....i'd love to ahve one, i couldnt even begin to imagination the power/weight ratio and handling capabilities.


                        I've seen some insane guys on 250's stay with or ahead of the local 600/ liter bikes
