same brand tires front and back ?

last fall I put a new bridgestone on the front at 6pm on a friday night only because I had to do it on the spot and was doing a trip the next morning

As my other thread states , looking for something that will stand up to highway riding better than the bridgestones

looking at ordering a new rear

Should I match brand for brand ??

Tires are designed to work best with each other. You wil get better performance with the same tire brand and type front and back.

If you mix; make sure the stickier tire is on the front. As long as they are same profile, average rider won't notice the difference.
