Really wish I lived in the US after reading all this. I have a Premier Monza that I paid around 240$ for. Since I'm a beginner, I simply picked one that fit decently and seemed sturdy, but it sure looks like there's way more to the market than that.

Because I'm looking forward to spring run-off so I can learn to whitewater kayak.

            Oh Man, you're not inspired?
I would still see bikers wearing these here in Michigan up until they dropped the helmet law.
Only baby boomers though, you have to remember seeing them in cheap 1960s biker movies, or you don't get it.

Naturally, Billy Jack (lol). Thought I was the only one who was a fan of Cycle Sluts from Hades. But I'm not accomplished as a whitewater paddler yet and need to get there before I can flare out...good call though.

He did his first ass kicking scene on the square in Santa Fe as I recall. I go there pretty often just to groove.

                    The Knightriders

I been wanting to buy a copy of this classic biker movie.
                    The Knightriders, staring Ed Harris.
I figure Zuma has a VHS copy, or maybe he ain't seen it?

                      ain't seen it...but may now...

I DID watch Easy Rider a week ago...Dr. Grace (our neighbor) bought it for me for my birthday...first saw it when I was 16...guess you might say it influenced me heavily...and the music...I still perform quite a few of those songs...sort of like The Sound of Music, or Oklahoma...not!

I'm in love with my Schuberth C3. it's modular and super light weight. everything about the helmet feels solid, and airflow is great. I didn't pay full price, found one on craigslist for less than half..

I've been riding with Arai's since I was 13. They just fit my head nicely.

                              Nolan N104 EVO.

Because it's the best fit for the shape of my head. And when your head is of such a shape that you need a XXXL (you read that right, 3X)....Nolan is one of the few who do make a helmet that size.

AGV, super light compared to my old Scorpion EXO700. Optically clear face shield. Doesn't jerk in the wind as much either.
