OK not sure if this should be here or in gearing up, but here goes. Over the last couple of days I have been packing up the Kat for my week long trip into the Ozarks. I was having trouble getting all my gear to fit easily into my GIVI bag setup. I used the vacuum type space saver bags (over grown zip locks if you ask me) and placed my sleeping bag into one. I pulled out the valve lock, laid on it to get all the air out and placed the replaced the valve lock. This reduced the size of the sleeping bag by about 1/2. I then used the type with the auto valve that you seal then roll up to reduce the size of my already small pillow by about 2/3. This allowed me to get all my big stuff in the hard cases. I wanted to reduce the size if what was going into my tank bag as I didn't want to use both zipped together as it is really to tall. I placed my rain gear into another of the seal and roll ones and that reduced the amount of space that my rain gear was taking up by about 2/3. These are great for packing on a motorcycle.
I will give a follow on update after the trip to let you know how these hold up to multiple days of use.
