    new/old rider

    Haven't had a bike since around '97. My 17 yr. old son kept bugging us so we finally gave in. Found a good deal on an '06 Kat 600. new/no miles. We're suppose to kinda share this thing so we'll see how that goes. Nervous about his ability with all the crazy drivers and traffic out there. One of the bikes that I previously owned was a 1981 GS450, no real complaints that I can remember. This is my first thread so just want to say HI to everyone in Kat land. From TN, I guess thats it for now.

      Welcome to KR, and something tells me you will get another Kat. 1 is just not enough for 2 riders...they are great all around bikes.
      It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

                      Great starter bike.... Im 17 myself and parents were a bit scared but i showed them i could handle it... still not the best nor the worst.. anyways welcome and ride SAFE

                          Welcome! I'm pretty sure it's mandatory for being <-18, but sign him up for a Motorcycle Safety Course, and take it yourself!! It's always good for a refresher
