'96 bandit 600 stock exhaust on a '92 750 kat

I bought a '92 katana 750 with a LOUD a hell D&D exhaust on it. I personally hate loud exhausts. But yeah, to the point.... i was on craigslist and saw someone giving away a stock exhaust system for a bandit 600. I'm almost certain it would be muuuuch quieter than the D&D... so the million dollar question is, will it fix my kat? im willing to mod what has to be modded for this but if it is entirey impossible.... how do i made D&D shut the hell up without breaking the bank. =P
