You should make sure that standard maintenance items have been taken care of. If not it would be a great time to upgrade some items like brake lines (replace stock with stainless steel) or tires.

Cams for sure, full exhaust with a jet kit for more power. Definatly upgrade braking system. Steel lines, HH pads in front, but stick with a stock pad in back to keep from to much grip and fish tailing problems.

Then go from there and do the little things that makes it "Yours".
