    Use the 1100 cdi and the 1100 has a lower rev limiter.

      how do you figure you cant run an intercooler. the intercooler is run inline with the charge pipe. it would just atomatize the fuel more running thru it. im about to start this project
      in bout 2 weeks since i got my turbo for it (gt17) i only plan on running 6 psi (no intercooler needed). im doing the turbo just because i can and if i blow the motor, who cares, i have another 750 and a 600 to drop in its place, or i just pulled the 1216 out of my other kat.......bought the bike for $200, so worse case senario, i have a rolling chassis with a cool paint job....lol

        I have a VMax I put a turbo on, and holy $hit is it fun! It is basically my drag bike, but I'll take it on the street every now and then. The draw through is probably the cheapest and easiest way to go. I'm running an S&S super B carb on it with a pretty large main jet. The turbo is from a Mitsubishi, I have a Mr. Turbo waste gate, and a custom intake. The intake is pretty trick. It has been milled and welded from aluminum and has passages in it so when I purge or spray nitrous, it acts as an inner cooler. If I were you, get a Mr. Turbo waste gate, find your turbo that is carbon sealed (as mentioned previously) get a bunch of tubing for your exhaust, throw away your stock carbs, and get a Mikuni HSR carb. I think the 42mm is the smallest HSR carb they make, but I could very easily be mistaken. That carb will probably be a little much, but the HSR has the accelerator pump in it so it will be better for starting and making it a little better on the street over the S&S carb. Oh, and and another thing to remember is that most turbos do not need much oil for the supply, but make damn sure that you leave a clean return line for the oil to drain (might want to look and putting a hose barb into the clutch cover somehow).
