  • Two Brothers M2 Slip-on

I just received my 2 Bros pipe (pollished alum. version) I won on E-Bay and was wondering if there is anything I should know (tips, tricks, etc.) before I try to put it on. It's used but in great shape and I believe it came with everything. It was even shipped in the original box. Hope to be able to put it on either tonight or Friday. I think I got a good deal... $140 shipped which makes it even better. I Can't wait to hear it. Haven't heard one in person but I've heard that they sound good.

i would expect to make and a/f adjustment on the carbs. other than that its just a few bolts. If you not familiar with adjust carbs like me.. would call about gettin it done or even read the forums lots of info on it.. seems easy enough i'm actually doing mine again tommorrow.. Good luck there is also a really nice fairing removal how to with lots of pictures . that will make your life a lot easier..

You won't have to adjust the a/f mixture, however even a bone stock bike can benefit from fattening up the mixture a little bit. You can if you want but it's not REQUIRED.

Slip-on should take about 30 minutes then you're good to go.

Just be careful removing the midpipe from the header, you don't want to damage the gasket. you could use sealant like said, but not a necessity. welcome to the two bros club!

Thanks for the input. It didn't look like it should be very hard but I just wanted to make sure before I got it taken apart. I'll pick-up some sealant on my way home tonight just incase.

Shoot bro, 15 minutes and you're done. You'll love it, it sounds freakin' awesome! I'll come by and check it out when I head home to H-town on Sunday!

                  get some of this

last thing you want is any gas leaks.

Make sure you carefully remove the wire gasket on the OEM pipe (if the 2bros dosnt have one or make up for it with a wider pipe.)

Take a before and after vid so u can ugh over your bike later.

                  enjoy

It should bolt on easily depending on how used it is. Mine was not very old so went on like nothing. Very quick install and sounds amazing. Love it.
Can't blame me for something I don't remember.

20 minutes and it was done... sounds awesome and I doesn't seem to have any leaks. Really foggy here this evening so I only got to go for a short ride around the neighborhood. Hopefully I'll get to take it out for a real ride tomorrow.
                      Thanks for the advise!!!

My previous owner must have completely gotten rid of my gasket, because when I put my 2bros on I had all sorts of leaks. Thats why I needed the exhaust sealant.
