    fairings??

    i was thinking about buyin a set of fairings from a post 98 kat and seein what i could do about maybe finding a way to modify onto my pre-kat... has anyone ever attempted anything like this at all yet or i was thinking bout mixing the two styles to gether a lil bit i dont know i just wanna see if anyone else has attempted this b4 or what thoughts may be ... i wanna make a style that noones seen but keep it kat know what mean lemme know what you think!!

    You can do anything given enough time, money and effort.

    It's not a direct swap to put 98+ plastics on a pre.

      I think you'd be making a great looking pre Katana look like a really ugly post Katana, but that's just me

        BraadaJim's kat had a mix of post and pre plastics. You may want to look at that before you commit to it. It may make you change your mind about mixing the 2

                If you're choppin to the point of all new fairings and upper/headlight, why not just go all out and use bodywork from a different bike?

                  cuz i like the look of the kats!! but i like certain aspects of both!! i like the tail end of the pre-kat but i like the side front fairings of the post-kats and i like the headlights on the post-kat the only other tail i like is maybe the 06 kat tail lights or the gsx-r tails
