    Everyone in KR: I just got a 5 degree advancer and the difference is crazy! Quick warm up time, BIG difference in the throttle response and more power especially in the mid range and top end! I kick myself for waiting for so long getting one of these. The install takes minutes and is a simple swap for your oem one. This is a must have for the Kat!

          You can find all my offers here (oil filters, spark plugs, etc., well below your local dealer cost and even below RonAyers in general, plus I ship the night payment clears):

          Generic Quote for anyone in the USA, if the ignition advancer is all you order:

          Ignition Advancer: 49.00
          Priority Mail: $4.60
          ///// QUOTE /////

          Cash price total: $53.60
          This price applies to payments via cash & money orders originating in the USA. If you'd like to pay via money order (in US Dollars [USD$] only), drop me a PM or email to let me know you're doing that, and send it for $53.60 US Dollars (along with a copy of this PM) via mail to:

          Marc Glasgow
          14312 HANGING MOSS CIR #202
          TAMPA, FL 33613-4061
          USA

          If you want to pay via any payment method that involves a remote approval from your financial institution (credit card, debit card, check [cheque], paypal payment or direct bank transfer [ATM]), the amount will be $55.96 (reflects the extra fees I have to pay to accept such payments), and can be paid via paypal to:
          [email protected]

          If you need anything else I carry, such as spark plugs, oil filters, valve tappet adjustment tool, speedbleeders, etc., now is the time to consider them, as combined shipping is always cheaper, and flat-rates out at $8.95 maximum for anything that can fit in their flat-rate box.

          PLEASE NOTE: All prices are US Dollars (USD$). For items with limited quantities, first payment received is who gets it. For most out-of-stock items, a refund will be automatically generated.

          ///// END QUOTE /////

            I agree with KS, I put mine on about a month ago or so. The start up is soooo impressive now. The warm up better, and the throttle response was huge. Aside from my slip on, it was the best mod to date. Word of wise, do not waste your time trying to wrench that sum gun out of place. Get an impact wrench and do it in seconds. I fought with mine before I actually used my head.

                Excellent advice! Man, I fought with mine for a long time until the thing finally loosened and I can hold my own in the gym or in the ring! I need to get some impact tools and a compressor! That thing was tough to get off!

                      We've had a couple under-skilled people do the poor-man's version and have it go drastically wrong, resulting in them needing a whole new pick-up sensor plate ($122 - $150 new, depending on source) because their signal timing rotor (the part that gets replaced with my upgrade) struck the signal generator pick-up after improper positioning at high RPM's. That said, we've also had a decent number of highly skilled, competent individuals do the poor-man's upgrade without issue. It's your call.

                      I know that I've always simply bolted on the new signal rotor; it's painless, fast (under 15 minutes), and pretty much impossible to screw up unless you fail to put the retaining bolt back in to the spec'd torque (using some blue loctite on it is advised).

                      For a discussion on what they do, how they work, where I going into detail, see:

                        Oops! It looks like I will be taking it off and putting some loctite on there, seriously too! I thought about it when I put it on but said, nah!
