Recently some behavior on the site has come up that the staff has been discussing how to handle. Here are a few guidelines we ask that you follow.
Posting in the shoutbox
The shoutbox is our public greeter here at KR. Any logged in member can view what's posted there. More to the point, any logged in member could be offended or take a message the wrong way. Fun and games aside, please keep your topics of conversation respectable. If things start to some how get out of hand, stop and send a note to a member of the staff. The entire content of the shoutbox is archived and can be reviewed. Just because it scrolled off the screen doesn't mean it's gone forever.
Avatars
Please keep your avatars clean and tasteful. If it's not something you would show your mom, dad, grandmother, son or daughter don't post it. It shows up on each and every thread you participate in.
NSFW/NKS
Clearly mark threads which contain NSFW or NKS material. Some people don't care to see those threads.... so make it clear the intent of your content. This could be video, images, stories, jokes whatever.
Image Hotlinking
See a cool photo somewhere? Great... copy it to your photobucket or imageshack account before you post it here. Sometimes hosts will change the content of an image because you are sucking down all their bandwidth. YOU will be responsible if the content changes. I have no control over the hosts' terms of service, so let's try not to violate them.
