  • Ozark Run Post Ride Report .... With a few Pix Post 1

    Hi All,

I got home last night around 20:00 after about 550 mile final leg. Total trip was 1028.3 miles.

Route & Ride report: I left Kansas City, MO around 15:00 on Thursday and rode to Warsaw, MO to spend the night a my friends lake house at the Lake of the Ozarks (See Carl's Cabin Pic). Got up Friday and hit the road south. The ride between Warsaw and Springfield, MO has to be one of the most boring ever. But once there the scenery gets better even if the roads don't. Got the Harrison, Ark and stopped for lunch at the the Dixie Cafe around 12:15. Headed on South to Ark HWY 7 and within 15 minutes I was in riding heaven. (See Hwy7 pic.) I had this type of road until I got to Dover, Ark about 4 hours later (I took a side trip for a ways up Hwy 16 (Nicknamed the Copperhead) to Pedestal Rock and hiked in and took some pics (See Ped1 pic). See Post Number 2 for rest and more pix
