Does the backrest pop on and off? There is a commercial on the Corbins Ride On TV show that shows one that is a two piece. One piece has the rest the other is just flat. So you have a choice.

Well... We were out riding yesterday and boy is it a huge change... I had to reach down and touch her knee just to know that she was still back there... Comfortable as could be... Corbin takes your height, weight, and inseam length... and custom builds the seat... Someone else's seat might feels like crap to you... because it's not custom made for you... They definately got it right.

Yes... It slides into the bracket and is held by a screw... and there is a leather flap that velcros over the hole with a weather flap so you don't even know its there when the back is removed.

Check with a local motorcycle parts dealer... My dealer got me both the seat and the backrest that retails for $480... for only $380 complete ... Just shop around in person... not on-line.

Looks cool. I just ordered a corbin seat this Friday. But you say that they asked you about height weight etc - they never asked me about this?! - just which color I wanted.... Am I being cheated here, or maybe they just ask you these numbers and in reality send you a off-the-shelf-seat - just to make it look like you got something personalized? 'dunno. but I still look forward to receiving the seat in 8 weeks time... I had to pay more than double the price you paid though... damn.
